Bloo- I mean, teardrops on my guitar

The fingers on my left hand are in severe pain.

Bruised. Red. Swelling. Layers of skin peeling. Horribly deformed.

Ouch.

I'm now doing most of my typing with my right hand. Feels like these fingers are gonna be disfigured.

Permanently.

I know you're wondering what abuse I've been applying to these poor fingers.

Here's the clue.

The fingers on my left hand are bruised. Only my thumb remains unscathed. But even the knuckle's turning ugly scarlet.

I'm not sure if its amazing or abusive to be playing for 7 hours straight.

Just the sight of it and my lunch threatens to make a reappearance.

I'm finally going on vacation without my parents!!!

So many things to blog about, but I don't really have the time nor the inclination to think and type.

1. Jaime came home for CNY. Here's what you get for being the youngest sibling in the family.

I was out Starbucking with Jaime and Timmy.

Jaime: *complains about Malaysian weather*
Timmy: *talks about migrating*
Jaime: You know, what they need is this giant, central aircon-
Me: Aircons cause global warming!

And they both stared at me like I sprouted eight pairs of wings. Giant black butterfly wings. With yellow polka dots.

Me: ...?
Timmy: You know every time you make a stupid comment like that, you grow 1 cm shorter.
Me: *splutters*
Jaime: And with that kind of height, you really can't afford to lose 1 cm.
Me: *squeals something incoherent*
Timmy: So you make 10 stupid comments, you grow 10 cm shorter.
Me: *kicks up a big fuss*

The fact that they both tower over me by several inches doesn't help.

I don't remember much about the rest, like I said, no inclination to think.

2. I was sick with severe vomiting. Its really stressful to wake up at 4 in the morning because your tummy isn't cooperating with your brain. And then your oesophagus (hmm, how do you spell it?) goes on strike and you have to rush to the toilet. And stay there for 1 hour +. And then your parents get so worked up so they bring you to the nearest 24 hour clinic.

And its too near to drive. Too far for a sick person to walk. But we walked anyway, and I puked the whole way there. Thank god it was 6 in the morning so the only people who stared at this psycho who was puking her intestines out by the roadside was the other psychos who lepak-ed around town area at unearthly hours.

3. I sat on top of my class lockers. Its easy really. Just put a chair on a table and a chair next to the table and make sure somebody's there to catch you in case your balancing is too incompetent. Haha, we were painting the class (bright daffodil yellow, ugh) and someone had to paint the area above the lockers. So the bunch of tiny girls had to do it, in case the more enormous people crashed right through the lockers.

4. My exam results are like sky-high and sea-low. Not exactly sky-high. Maybe Petronas Twin Tower kind of high. Let's not talk about that.

5. KARA. Self explained. Thanks a lot, Peter and Bee.

Gudaereul saranghae, my love~

6. Hmph, I'm so gonna buy myself an acoustic guitar that can be strapped at its body and has decent sounds. Don't bother asking what I want for my birthday. I want money. July, come faster.

7. I've got great news, but I ain't telling you guys yet. Let me book the airplane tickets first. =)

~Pen (inner joke, ask 4C students)

You held me till the morning light shone through~
And you held me till the darkness disappeared~
I never knew the breaking dawn could be so beautiful~
And you chased away the shadows of my fears~
And my dawn broke through~

I miss PMR =(

I must be demented to say it, but yeah, I miss PMR a lot.

Sunday
I was serving as usher for the first time. Mostly, I was trying my hardest not to mutilate the bulletins I was holding. It was like a mind VS. hand thing.

*Anyone who knows me well knows that I can't hold paper without attempting to fold, crumple, roll or tear it to pieces. Must be some nerve disorder.

Monday - Exams
BM: Susah giler.

Factors that caused the majority of 4C students to screw up their English test:
1. The teacher who was handling the exam refused to tell us if we were supposed to write our bloody answers in test pad or not.
2. That same *insert profanity* teacher started our test TEN MINUTES LATE. That's like 1/6 of our original time GONE. *profanity*
3. Another teacher came in more than half an hour later to give CORRECTIONS to the exam paper. Nobody really had time to change their answers. *profanity*
4. Our English teacher didn't really teach us how to do summary, so nobody knows if they summarised accurately during the test. T.T

Sejarah: I thought the day couldn't get any worse, with the English drama and all. Well, it did. My fault for being abnormally stupid. =(

After school...

Mum: How's exams today?
Vicki: That-*profanity*-teacher-came-in-10-*profanity*-minutes-late-the-other-one-gave-the-corrections-when-the-*profanity*-exam-was-close-to-over-teacher-who-set-sejarah-paper-played-some-kind-of-joke-on-us-by-confusing-the-*profanity*-instructions-and-questions-BM-was-so-*profanity*-hard-IT WAS HELL.

Tuesday - *profanity*

Biology was harder than expected.
Physics was worse.
I was reduced to scribbling my answers out in modern maths.

During assembly, some teacher was spouting all the bad points of SBS students. And after that there was this teacher who starting rampaging around in our class, screeching all sorts of accusations about how we may be smart students but we can't handle the basic things in life. (She's the same teacher who was complaining about a thin layer of dust in 4A)

Well, if you're disappointed in us, I'm really disappointed in some of you too. Especially after that episode with that ridiculous English test. And I'm not even gonna mention how teachers ponteng class and don't do their "homework" (which technically means marking our homework). And how some teachers can't teach the subject that they major in and then blame it on the students for not understanding.

We know how teaching is such a noble profession and believe or not, students really appreciate (sensible) teachers. But sometimes, unlike what most people think, its not only the students that mencemarkan nama sekolah.

Wednesday - *profanity*

I died in add maths.
Thankfully my other half (binary fission XD) was alive to do the moral paper. She had no clue was she was writing about though.

Before add maths test...

Me: *trying to figure out what the value of X that maps onto itself means*
Some-person-I-forgot-who: Vicki, do you know-
Me: NO I DON'T! GO AWAY!
Some-person-I-forgot-who: ..................
Me: Sorry, I'm really not functioning at the moment. What were you saying?
Some-person-I-forgot-who: Do you know what the precautions are for the physics report?
Me: *What is she saying?* Uhh...no. Sorry for yelling btw.
Some-person-I-forgot-who: Oh, kay.

----------------------------------------------------------
Me: *trying to figure out what the value of X that maps onto itself means*
Christie: *comes over and whines about exams*
Me: Unavailable at the moment.
Christie: *Goes away*

After add math exam...

Christie: I calculated question no. 6 three times. Each time I got a different answer. O.O
Me: What does the value of X that maps onto itself mean?
Christie: O.O

Thursday - XD

I oficially love chemistry. =)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The whole of today I was wrestling with myself on whether I should go to school tomorrow.

Good Vicki: Teacher's discussing add maths answers tomorrow, we must go.
Bad Vicki: Don't want, we haven't completed English essay.
Good Vicki: Technically, we haven't started at all. All the more we must do it tonight and go tomorrow. No more procrastinating.
Bad Vicki: Lazy.
Good Vicki: Its Farah's farewell party tomorrow.
Bad Vicki: We need to leave at 2 anyway.
Good Vicki: And choral speaking discussion.
Bad Vicki: Eek, who cares.
Good Vicki: We gave Sara our external hard disc. If we don't go tomorrow, we ain't getting it back till after CNY. And all our Alvin & Chipmunks songs are in there.
Bad Vicki: WHAT?! LETS GO!

~Uhh..Vicki. =)

P.S.

Bad Vicki: I kinda miss PMR...
Good Vicki: Me too...
Bad + Good Vicki: =(

Warning: Long update.

Form 4 feels so different from form 3. It feels more different than standard 6 compared with form 1.

Like I-forgot-who says, if you're absent from school for one day in form 3, oh who cares, its just PMR. But if you don't come to school for one day in form 4, you're screwed 'cuz every teacher dishes out homework as if their subject is the only subject we study.

And I'm having some serious issues with my PJ and Sivik teacher. Super sorry, but I don't really know how to respect teachers who can't respect students.

And ALL THREE of our science teachers c_ _'t sp_ _ k E_g_ish. My ears bleed in their classes.

And don't even get started on add maths. I only liked add maths last Thursday because...

...the teacher was absent. Hence, it was free period. On normal days, poor me has to suffer stupid analogies about "dog and cat and alien and predator!" relating to math from a teacher who can't spell A-L-I-E-N. Please. Spare me.

The only really good teachers are our BM teacher and our mod. math teacher.

Oh and did I mention? One is retiring and the other won't be teaching us for the next three months.

FMSL, right?

On to happier matters, Christie has been going all macho on me for the last one week 'cuz I left her pendrive in the pocket of my pants that went on a roller coaster ride... in the washing machine.

OKAY TECHNICALLY IT WASN'T MY FAULT BECAUSE I DID NOT PUT THOSE PJ PANTS IN THE LAUNDRY BASKET IT WAS ON MY BED NEXT TO ME AND HOW WAS I SUPPOSE TO KNOW THAT MY MUM WOULD JUST DUMP IT IN THE WASHING MACHINE WITHOUT EMPTYING THE POCKETS AND I COULDN'T STOP HER 'CUZ I WAS TAKING A NAP AT THAT TIME BECAUSE OF SEVERE EXHAUSTION DUE TO EXCESSIVE HOMEWORK GIVEN BY PSYCHOTIC TEACHERS.

Anyway, the much wanted pendrive has been recovered and is thankfully, still working.

Christie: There's dried soap on my pendrive...*takes ruler and scrapes*
Vicki: That's not soap. Its scratches.
Christie: *insert multiple profanities here*

On a much more cheerful topic, I think I'm turning into a Gleek. I was actually planning to have a productive day by getting rid of all my excess baggage (homework, not inches) but I ended up watching 8 episodes of Glee. 8 hours staring at the screen. I have this sense of dread that my spectacles will be gaining inches soon.

I wonder how long before people realise I don't use Facebook. I'd delete my account, but I'm too busy to search for the delete button.

People who haven't watched Avatar yet don't know what they're missing. People who are dysfunctional due to excessive stress bestowed upon them by evil teachers should watch Alvin and the Chipmunks Squeakquel. That's why its downloading on my Limewire. Not that I'm really dysfunctional...yet.

I nag at people not to buy pirated stuff but I do illegal downloads.

I am such a hypocrite.

~Veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

P.S. I need to learn to remember the names of 4C's new students. I can't keep calling them "the new chinese girl", "the other new chinese girl", "the new fella", "the new chinese boy".

Its really rude.

P.P.S. The weekend is here! Oh yeah!!!!!!!!

P.P.P.S. Amoeba can grow up to 5mm long. In case you're wondering, that's bloody enormous. And also seriously disgusting.

You don't really know who I am

Dead tired.

Lately, I've been sleeping...everywhere. In the car, on my study table while doing homework, on the bed (obviously), on the dining table, on my piano keys, in the cinema while watching Avatar.

Sometimes I wish I didn't waste all these years. If I hadn't, then at the very least I could reduce my 500 billion regrets to a lesser number.

Its getting harder and harder to juggle the 3 most important things in my life: school work, music stuff, keeping sane.

You guys won't even believe how much time my music "stuff" takes up. People just think "Oh yeah, she's the band geek, obssessed with music. That's why everything else about her sucks."

Its actually much more than that.

And nobody actually believes this, but I think the words like "band" and "music" are really, really annoying.

~Vee

P.S. Finally.

You never let the past interfere with your future dreams~
You don't know where you're going to from here but you know its not with me~
And guess what? I'm starting not to care. What I've wished for all along is already starting to happen. Way to go, Vicki.

Rude Awakening

Monday
- Got welcomed back to school by what Ming Yang calls the "purest form of bullshit". I couldn't have phrased it better. Read his blog for more info.
- Also got welcomed back to school with a disclipline talk. (This was like the highlight of the day. =.=")
- Had to endure a personality test that called Pauline an intellectually challenged student and Christie someone who isn't aware of what goes around her.
- And according to that personality test, I'm the kind of person who lets people push me around, I'm not aware of my rights, I can't take instructions from anybody and my social life is DEAD.
- Oh yeah, it also tells me I'm mentally retarded and desperately needs counselling.

How's that for the first day of school?

Tuesday
- The good news is, we had a really good penceramah for the motivational talk.
- THE BAD NEWS IS THAT I FELT REALLY SICK. SO I SPENT MOST OF THE TIME EITHER SLEEPING ON MY PILE OF TEXT BOOKS OR THROWING UP MY BREAKFAST.

Wednesday
- Hah, this was the real rude awakening.
- We had... lessons. T.T

Thursday
- I don't know how to do most of my school work. T.T

Friday
- I don't know how to do most of my homework. T.T

-----------------------------------------------------------

- Most of the teachers who are suppose to teach English-related subjects can't speak English. T.T

- I got her for my P.J. teacher.

Happy form-four-ing.

~Vee

P.S. I'm not sure if its because I underestimated Form 4 or I overestimated myself.
